1887 Victoria Jubilee Gold Full Sovereign - MINT: London - SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES: S.3866A - Unpriced in Spink - Extremely Rare Rated, Tiny JEB Sovereign (angled- hooked J),Very good grade. IN THE FEBRUARY 2009 EDITON OF COIN NEWS CLIVE KING WROTE AS FOLLOWS:
"BEFORE LEAVING 1887 WE NEED TO MENTION ANOTHER EXTREMELY RARE COIN THAT WAS ONLY STRUCK IN LONDON, THAT WITH THE TINY J.E.B INITIALS. THIS COIN IS EASILY RECOGNISABLE AS THE LETTERS ARE WIDELY SPACED AND EXTREMELY SMALL, ONLY ABOUT HALF THE SIZE OF THE NORMAL INITIALS, WITH SOME, PARTICULARLY ON SLIGHTLY WORN EXAMPLES, BEING ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO READ. I HAVE ONLY SEEN 2 OR 3 IN THE PAST 10 YEARS"
